Hello and Happy May to you!  I have another doll to add to the Americana collection.  Her name is "Belle". 
She is 20 inches from the top of her crown to her toes.  Belle is sewn from muslin and stained with cinnamon-vanilla scented walnut ink.  Belle is stained a little more than the dolls I usually do. 

Belle's face is painted and her nose is stitched.  She has curly doll hair and a stained wool felt crown. 

Her dress bodice is homespun and her skirt is polka dot calico.  The sash is stained red ticking with a red star print bow.   USA is handstitched on the sash.  I have added rusty bells on her bow and her painted on shoes.   Belle's pantaloons are made from an old dresser scarf.

Uncle Sam

Hello All-I have pictures today of my third patriotic dolly for this season.  Uncle Sam is a 22 inch cloth doll sewn from muslin with a hand-painted face. 

His hair and beard are sheep's wool .

Sam's neck ruffle is a patriotic banner print with a coordinating fabric for his shirt underneath.

I have painted on his shoes and used small black beads as "eyelets" to hold his shoelaces in place.

My latest dolly, Miss Liberty Ann Justice, is all dressed up for 4th of July in her red, white and blue flag dress!   She is a 22 inch tall, fabric doll with a handpainted face.  Her hair is made from real sheep's wool.  She can sit or hang.  I have painted on her shoes and added little red buttons.  Her pantaloons are the same red fabric as her bodice.

New Americana Dollie-Sailor Boy

In looking forward to the patriotic holidays ahead, I have a new Raggedy named Sailor Boy.  He is 22 inches from the top of his hat to his painted on and laced shoes.  He has button eyes, a fabric nose and stitched on mouth.  His fabrics are lightly tea-dyed.  His arm is in a permanent salute to his handmade flag, Old Glory.  I have given him a full head of yarn hair.  Sailor Boy is $35.00 plus his travel fare.

Celebrate Spring with Fritz The Bunny

Fritz The Bunny is  21 inches tall from the top of his hat to his toes.  He is sewn from Osnaburg and has painted eyes and wool felt cheeks and nose.  His britches are sewn from orange velvet fabric.  His shoes and stockings are painted.  Fancy black beads are stitched on his shoes.  His wool felt hat has a velvet and rusty bell decoration.  A velvet carrot is stitched to his green coat which is adorned with stitched-on braid along the front.  A tag on his hat is stamped "celebrate spring"!  Fritz is $ 39.00 plus his travel fare.
